Exceptionally comfortable bed in the superior twin room, plus a mini-bar, an iron, and an electronic key card. Outstanding view over the roof top. Famous area, perfect and incredible location, adjacent to all the duty free shops, restaurants, street markets, Kilim Geoforest boat ride and the central business district of Langkawi, which is also close to the jetty.

The family suite was fresh and had a nice balcony, the vibe was perfect for families, and the location was quiet, right by the ferry station and close to shopping.

The pool was nice and I had welcome drinks in the roof top bar. I really enjoyed the brand-new and well-kept room, and the splendid view of the jetty and Andaman sea. Location: the hotel was so close to the ferry station...

My stay at My Hotel was poor and wasn’t good value for money. I don’t recommend it to anyone and I won’t come there again. I came to Langkawi for a holiday; the worst thing was the accommodation my hotel has offered!!I Couldn’t find enough comments in the review section at the Booked.net. So I selected it because it was written that there is a sea view of the hotel. That’s true, there was a sea view, but we had to take a taxi in a journey for 30 minutes to go to the nearest beach!!! Anyway, once we arrived to our room we find a room with a double bed while we booked a twin one. We went downstairs and they give us a key for a twin room, there was no internet wireless connection and the air condition wasn’t working!! We stayed there for the first night, and then we asked for another room. Again they give us a key for a double bed room!!! We asked for another one and they give us a key for a dirty one. While we were checking from the wireless connection we find three cockroaches!!! This was in less than 5 minutes!!! We went downstairs again to ask for a replacement and this time I was so angry!! We supposed to be relaxing at a similar time!! My final, thankfully, room was an insect free room but the plug for the kettle, which we want to use it for charging the computer and the mobile phones, was broken!!! Having a shower was a nightmare as the hot water at the bathroom wasn’t continuous. At all rooms I have been to, the screen windows were dirty, seems they’re not regularly cleaned!! In some rooms the floor was sticky, the safe lockers weren’t functioning and there was no light at balconies!! The breakfast was soooo poor. The people who works at the reception were ok, but those after12 am are another story!! They can’t speak proper English and their responsibilities are too limited.

We were the only westerners stating in the hotel, which of course we expected due to the location however the staff did not want to interact or speak with us, upon check we were told there were no rooms available but only after standing at the check in desk for 20 minutes being ignored, wjike other guests behindvus were chexked in or served. Eventually someone spoke to us but wouldn't make eye contact, only to say they were fully booked. We insisted we had booked and he made us email him the confirmation as proof, eventuslky they found us a room. The room was nice and comfortable, however I think other young western travellers should be aware this hotel is not very welcoming, we felt uncomfortable and awkward at times, as they made us feel they didn't want us here. We didn't even have the breakfast on the 2 days because we were not told anything about times etc, also because when we did go into the dining hall we were starred out. We made sure we wore appropriate clothing to respect the culture but we still seem be sticking out so we left the breakfast and ate out. The description of the hotel said there is a swimming pool, hence the reason we booked it, when we asked where the pool is, they just said its gone.

It is located on the area where you have Duty Free shopping, local shop and so on. The weekly local Sunday market is just 500 meter from Hotel. I enjoyed being there in that Market.
You need to claim few steps (10 around) to get into the lobby of the hotel. Hotel staff did not help me to carry my luggage to lobby when I landed but they helped when during checked-out. Flush of toilet was not working properly !!!

This hotel delivered in terms of value for money. With its clean and basic rooms, it provided a comfortable stay at an affordable price. The staff were extremely friendly and provided top-notch service, ensuring that all my needs were met. The location of the hotel was great, with the Kuah night market just a stone's throw away. I enjoyed exploring the market and indulging in the local cuisine. The hotel also had rooms with a small balcony, offering a nice view of the surrounding area.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was great and I couldn't find any major faults.

Great View & Location, Big Room
During my recent stay at Goldsands Hotel, I was delighted to find that the room was spacious and had a lovely balcony with a breathtaking view. The location of the hotel was also perfect, as it was within walking distance to shopping places and the night market. The hotel definitely offered a great view and convenience.
I must mention that the bathroom had some issues with unstable hot water, which made it a bit inconvenient at times. Additionally, the breakfast was a bit disappointing, with slow refills and some dishes not cooked properly.

This hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is fantastic. The rooftop pool offers breathtaking views, and the rooms are spacious and newly renovated. I also really appreciated the extras like the welcome drink, 15 minute massage, and discounts on taxis. I was not expecting all of these amazing perks for such a reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back to this place!
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It's in a great location, especially if you love trying out the local food at the night market.

The hotel had a good view and a large room, perfect for families. had a clean pool area with many sun chairs to relax and adequate parking.
The staff was not welcoming at all and lacked knowledge of the hotel. Worse yet, the room's floor felt dirty and the air conditioning unit was dripping, forming a puddle next to my bed.
